I love the convenience of having a 24 hr store open just minutes from my home. However, the prices are not as good as a Woodmans or Target. I had JUST moved and did not want to travel to buy my start up groceries. My total was a whopping 263.00 that I know could have been at least 20% less at one of those other stores, but I chose to pay for convenience. I did use their reward card for the 1st time and got 5% off, so signing up was worth it!
Meijer I believe is on track to beat Wal-Mart art it's own game.. Excellent prices, usually fully stocked, staff has a good helpful attitude. Highly recommended to go shopping and all other quick run needs
Otherwise, I greatly enjoy Meijers over the other grocery stores.
This store is new, really friendly staff so far, always very clean, well stocked all staff seem to know every dept. I try to go to this store for everything now. I've also changed my pharmacy to this Meijer which has been amazing compared to what Walgreens has turned into.
Latest visit revealed some items were left by customers here and there. The sales associates are still friendly and helpful. Customers are growing in numbets. The specials are sometimes not kept on shelves fast enough. I think restocking from storage to shelves needs to be picked up. I requested assistance for an item that offered buy one and get one free. Shelf was empty but the item was in stock. Whew! Another time, my search for an item was not found by one sales associate and another checked somewhere else to locate the item. They are hiring. This is a good work environment and pay is good. I am thinking of applying...
The only reason I didn't give this store a 5 is because of the parking lot layout. Look at Oak Creek Store layout. @ Oak Creek, you don't come in off the street and drive right into people leaving the store. That creates dangerous back-up traffic into 60th.
