Do your research and know what you want. The Best buy prices are almost always the lowest, in my opinion. Brick and mortar stores are wonderful. Try before you buy, but remember to buy there if you do. Knowledgeable salespeople were also a big help to us the last time we were there. Parking was not an issue and the folks helped load our car.
I was supposed to have a refrigerator delivery today. I was given a call in the morning and then again when they were coming. When they arrived I was in the bathroom. It took me 2 minutes to get to the door. I opened the door and there was no one there but the Geek Squad truck was park in front of the house. I took the closer and spring off of my door. Nobody came out of the truck. I figure they must be doing paper work. I went in (with the door wide open) I move the garbage can and a broom out of the way. I came out and waited on the stoop. After a bit, the truck just pulled away. I called the delivery driver and asked where he was going, I’m standing on the stoop. He said “Really?”. I weigh 265lbs and am wearing a lime green safety shirt. I can be seen me from 5 blocks away! But somehow he didn’t see me. Now I have to miss out on another half day of work. In recent years poor service has been the standard at Best Buy. So this is half my fault for thinking their delivery people would be any different. I own a business. I can’t imagine knocking on someone’s door and then going back to my vehicle???? I stand at the door and wait or go get something from the van and bring it back.
Standard "Best Buy" elsewhere. Hard to get in and out of the parking lot depending which way you are trying to head onto the street. This location on this particular day had a trash can, plastic bag and all just blowing in the wind by the door. There are better options for electronics.
Love it. Normally know exactly what im looking for so don't really need the associates help other then pointing me in the right direction. But staff is always very friendly when I do need assistance. And when ever I call they have no problem checking inventory of a product for me.
A nice easy shopping experience, since I knew what I wanted. Don't expect the 'techs' to know what they are talking about. They basically just read product descriptions. Know what you want/need ahead of time. Multiple times during my visit the tech told me something that was not accurate at all, and would have lead me down the wrong path if I hadn't known better.
If you have a complaint and go to their website it will redirect you to another company to take the complaint. This third party will then throw your complaint into the trash and email you back telling you there is nothing they can do.
I was offered a very tiny gift card for my time (about one tenth of what I will lose by waiting for them to deliver).
Do not buy major appliances from Home Depot!!!
